BLOG

There's a lot of books that I should be reading, and there's a lot that I want to be reading - but I was also in the mood for a good police procedural so this one sort of got plucked from the piles - totally unexpectedly (okay well the idea that I plan what I'm going to read next is tenuous at best).

From the Blurb:

Two murdered teenagers. Who will get to the killer first?  The police, or the crimelord who owes a debt to the dead girl's father?

Opening Lines:

Craneswater is the best address that money can buy in Portsmouth.  Tucked away at the bottom of the island, with a Southsea postcode and regular calls from the Waitrose home delivery service, it offers privacy, neighbourliness and a certain peace of mind.

BLURB

While Crown Court Judge Peter Ault is away on holiday with his wife, his teenage daughter Rachel throws a party.  The invite goes out on Facebook and before she knows it over a hundred kids from all over Portsmouth have descended on the house in the leafy affluence of Craneswater.  The party turns into a riot and the property is trashed.
